Chain of Hope is the official charity partner for Glow in the Park: London 2017!
Since 1996, Chain of Hope has been working towards its long-term goal that all children have access to essential cardiac care in their own countries. It is estimated that as many as 15 million children die or remain severely ill every year through potentially treatable or preventable cardiac diseases. Through teams of pioneering medical professionals, Chain of Hope brings lifesaving heart treatments to children in more than 43 developing and war-torn countries. The charity is supported by renowned medical volunteers who give their time to help children and conduct training programmes for local medical staff in these countries. The charity also runs an emergency International Child Referral Programme, flying children for urgent treatment to partner centres across the UK, Europe and Bangalore.
Last year Chain of Hope mended over 300 little hearts and could reach many more children with your support.
£10 could provide pain relief for a child following their operation
£50 could provide training materials and textbooks for future surgeons
£100 could buy the specialist surgical patch used to mend a hole in the heart
